FlyHelp

FlyHelp (formerly Pocket CHM) is meant for programmers, developers, technical writers, editors, and anyone else who needs to come up with help documentation. This is a tool that can be used to create documentation in HTML Help (CHM) format for desktop applications and Web Help (Browser-based Help) for web applications.

FlyHelp is available as an installer and as a portable version. The system requirements for running FlyHelp are: Pentium II processor or higher, 64MB of Ram, 10MB of free disk space, any Windows edition from Windows 2000 onward, Internet Explorer 4.1 or higher. Please note that FlyHelp needs .NET Framework 4.0 to run. You must have .NET Framework 4.0 on your Windows PC for FlyHelp to run.

On FlyHelp’s interface there’s a Starter prompt that is divided into three sections:
Recent Projects – lists the projects you recently worked on.
Project – allows you to open an existing project and access a wizard that helps you create a new project.
Resources – links to instructions on how to create CHM, how to create Web Help, how to merge CHM files, how to convert CHM to Web Help, and how to order FlyHelp.
